Title: Metro Cyclin' and Risks

'twas still dark when I reached Macapagal Boulevard. This place is one of the main biking area in Metro Manila. Before the Mall of Asia opened just a month ago, this place served as one of the best biking nook because of its good view and wide space. It actually is a park beside the 3rd of the largest mall in the world which looks like the "baywalk".

I laid my bike down and took a cup of taho. After that, I started cyclin with my friends and some of the racers. This is their passion. Something that makes them fullfilled. After 7 laps, I took my way home since the sun has already crept in the horizon.

6:30 and I was traversing the road, front of Quirino Grandstand, and took the right road from that. The light turned green, exactly when I arrived at the intersection of Ayala and taft in PNU. I didn't maneuvered at once since I'm having this bottle of water in my hands. Then all of a sudden a car came in full speed striking the biker ahead of me down into the sidewalk. It's shocking that I felt my knees trembling as I watch the biker stand from that place. The accident spared his life but his bike will cost him some money for sure. Minutes and police officers came and the driver of the car started yelling. At the end, the officers found that it's the driver's fault since the light is in favor of us. But I think, the biker also had some mistake when he crossed the road at once.

I must admit that cyclin' 'round the metro without bikers' lane is like playing with your life. There should be something for this..
