Wings

Cyclin' to Baywalk
Roxas Blvd. Manila

It was a little beforre 4am when I took a bath and prepared my breakfast. I was alone in the house then since my sister works in a call center. I had this second thought of not getting on that bike and better get back to bed. But I promised my friends that I'll be with them since it's a holiday. The mountain bike was prepared downstairs since my brother left it coz he's going to a dive. I finished my coffee and started to get my things. I was planning to visit my classmate in sampaloc.
It's a drizzly dawn which made it dangerous to take the road in Magsaysay blvd. It was still dark and just few vehicles were using the road. I took the Legarda road coz I'm to fetch up a friend in Quiapo. Just minutes and we are traversing Ayala bridge and we're getting into PNU any moment which is the rendesvouz.
I was surprised to see 9 teens along with my friends. I thought only 3 of us will go. It's quite hard to be with 9 cyclists and so happens that some of them are their first time. It was fun then.

The road looks like as if fireflies invaded the scene coz of the backlights of the bikes. We took macapagal Blvd. where pro cyclists and racers go.

After rounds, we took our breakfast near the cultural center of the philippines and after some time, I was traversing the road to Santol, Sta. Mesa.

I fixed myself for a trip to Golden City Cavite. CIAO!

THE WINGS

she laid her head on my shoulder....
't was like a dream
you, from heavens fall on me
n' d midst of this misty night
You came with wings ruined
But still I feel ur serenity
in every tear fallin on me
Now the tears are gone
wings complete again - And
soon is the break of dawn
't was like a thunder
I...was a piece of land
to see you flyin again
flyin away from here
I'll wait... I'll wait.....
till your wings are gone
and you'll need a land to rest on
she laid her hand on my shoulder...and softly whispered goodbye.
